Community Attendance Assistance Program (CAAP)
The Community Attendance Assistance Program (CAAP) is a high-intensity mentorship initiative dedicated to combating chronic absenteeism. By addressing the root causes of academic disconnection and community violence, CAAP restores a student’s sense of purpose through trauma-informed, “Four E’s” coaching.
Each participant is paired with an Educational Life Coach who provides comprehensive, personalized support.

- Targeted Interventions: Delivering a proprietary coaching curriculum focused on structured goal-setting and overcoming the social-emotional barriers that often lead to chronic disengagement.

CAAP is designed to reach youth before they enter the justice system, serving as a critical preventative measure for the community. By rebuilding daily structure and a sense of belonging, the program resolves the hidden causes of truancy rather than merely tracking the external symptoms.

The Concrete Programs

- Internal Resilience: Strengthening personal accountability and long-term self-control to ensure students remain focused on their future goals despite their current environment.
By providing safe, affirming spaces to process lived experiences, these programs directly impact violence prevention. When youth are equipped to challenge harmful social norms and regulate their emotions, the cycles of aggression and retaliation are effectively broken.
Proven Impact: The data highlights the effectiveness of this approach. During program enrollment, 94% of participants were involved in zero additional fights, and 81% maintained a record free of any behavioral incidents overall. Becoming Future Founders (BFF) — 12-Week Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Workshop Series
Becoming Future Founders is a 12-week financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshop series designed for youth and transitional-age youth. The program bridges the gap between basic money management and business ownership, breaking down complex economic concepts into digestible, actionable steps.
The curriculum focuses on shifting mindsets from survival to ownership, teaching students to see themselves as creators rather than just consumers. Key components include:
- Financial Mastery: Practical budgeting techniques, such as the 50/30/20 rule (50% needs, 30% wants, 20% savings/investments), and credit responsibility.
- Entrepreneurial Foundations: Business development, branding, and innovation strategies.
- Leadership Excellence: Strengthening presentation skills and the confidence to lead in professional environments.
